Event Staff Position at Anime NYC & NY Comic-Con 25

ANYC & NYCC 25 Event Staff Application Form

Crafted Solutions, a marketing agency / event and program developer is currently seeking a temporary Event Staff to provide support to Japanese Anime/Game producer/distributor’s exhibition for the upcoming Anime Conventions, held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in August and October.

The positions assist with the logistical/operational aspects of this exhibition promoting popular Japanese Anime/Game Titles. No experience is needed as we will train. We offer a pleasant work environment as part of a dedicated team. Anyone at or over 18 looking for additional income and fun is welcome to apply for these exciting positions at the top event venue with leading exhibitors in the Anime, Manga, Game industries in the world.

[COMPENSATION]
$19 per hour


[RESPONSIBILITIES]

Independent contractors for the positions at an exhibition booth including:  
  • Giveaway and flyer distribution (handing out promotional items, etc.)
  • Ushers (traffic management, line/path control, seating guests, guiding guests to enter/exit, etc.)
  • Exhibit and Game Assistants (Customer services, novelty distribution, etc.)
  • Stocker (Handling stock, replenishing and organizing merchandise)
  • Cashier (Merchandising cashier, inventory taking)
    * Positions are assigned at the discretion of event management team or the exhibitor


[QUALIFICATIONS]
18 years or over currently in school or with a BA/BS
Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Available to cover two or more shifts
Friendly attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Dependable with a great work ethic
Customer service experience is preferred
Japanese language knowledge/skill is a plus but not necessary

– The work shift schedules are basic coverage based on show hours and are still tentative. The shift start/end time varies by the position you are assigned to.
– Periodic meal & rest breaks are to be provided.
– Your actual work hours reflected on the wage that may differ from the planned schedule which we will discuss with you.
