Crafted Solutions, an event operations and marketing agency based in Los Angeles, is seeking experienced Japanese–English interpreters to support panel sessions at Anime Expo, one of the largest anime conventions in the world.

This role involves live stage/panel interpretation for Japanese anime/game producers and guests appearing at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Event Details

• Location: Los Angeles Convention Center and nearby event venues
• Dates: July 3–4, 2026
• Schedule: Varies by assignment (includes panel sessions, pre-meetings, and potential press support)

Compensation

• $75–150 per hour, depending on experience and assignment
• Minimum booking and preparation time included

Responsibilities

• Japanese ⇄ English interpretation during panel sessions (stage environment)
• Support for pre-panel meetings and coordination
• Assist with press/interview interpretation as needed

Qualifications

• Strong Japanese–English bilingual proficiency (required)
• Experience in interpretation (panel, stage, business, or similar) strongly preferred
• Ability to perform in live event / stage environments
• Professional communication skills and reliability
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred

• Prior experience at conventions (Anime Expo, Comic-Con, etc.)
• Familiarity with anime, gaming, or entertainment industry
• Experience in fast-paced or unscripted environments

• Candidates available for multiple sessions will be prioritized
• Selected candidates may be invited for a short video interview
• Assignments will be based on experience and availability
