WORK SCHEDULE

★★★ PUNCTUALITY IS CRUCIAL !! ★★★

Please be sure to arrive for your scheduled shifts on time. We expect all of us to be punctual and follow the schedule. In case of any emergency or if you are running late, please inform us immediately at the above number. If there are missed hours due to tardiness or any other reasons including traffic, it will be reflected on your compensation on a pro-rate basis in 15-minutes increments.

*We will be sending you an invitation to setup a Clock IN & OUT App on your smartphone.

Please allow yourself plenty of time (at least 30 minutes or more) to arrive. Leaving home early to avoid traffic is highly recommended. Check in with your Leader each day at your scheduled START time before beginning your work.

*PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR WORKSHIFTS. You will be provided details of your break schedule from your Leaders on your first day. TIME MANAGEMENT WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

Thursday, October 9, 2025 – 8:00AM-7:30PM

Friday, October 10, 2025 – 9:30AM – 7:30PM

Saturday October 11, 2025 – 9:30AM – 7:30PM

Sunday, October 12, 2025 – 9:30AM-5:30PM

The above call times refer to the time you are ready to work at your assigned exhibit booth. Since it may take a little time to walk from the entrance through the crowded venue to the booth, please plan to arrive at the convention center 30 minutes prior to your scheduled call time each day.

*ASSIGNED POSITION IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. PLEASE CONFIRM WITH YOUR LEADER ON YOUR FIRST DAY. YOU MAY BE ASKED TO CHANGE POSITION DURING THE SHOW AS WELL.

TRANSPORTATION

We highly recommend you take public transportation such as the subway, train, or bus.

The Javits Center does not have on-site parking. We recommend booking convenient and affordable parking in advance through the parking reservation app, SpotHero. To reserve your parking spot for Anime NYC, visit the Javits Center SpotHero Parking Page. If you use ride-share services or your family or friend provides you a ride please allow enough cushion time as the road and parking will be heavily congested during the show weekend.

Getting to the Jacobs Javits Center

We will reimburse your travel expenses up to $20 per day in exchange for your receipts.

Your payment will be processed within two weeks after the show, so please send all your receipts to event@mytaskpro.com by NO LATER THAN 10/15/25, or it may not be included in your paycheck. Please note we are not able to reimburse the expense that is not supported by the original receipt.

★★★ AGAIN, PUNCTUALITY IS CRUCIAL !! ★★★

The streets and parking garages are expected to be congested during the show week. If you will be on wheels, please be sure to spare yourself plenty of time (at least 30 minutes or more) to avoid delay due to traffic and parking so you will be at your booth on time.

ENTRY TO THE SITE

★YOUR WORK SHIFTS STARTS THURSDAY, 10/9/25, 8:00 AM

Arrive at the Starbucks on the Crystal Palace floor at least 15 minutes before 8:00 AM (this is the same floor where you enter from the main entrance, and where Will Call and Registration are located).

Find Ms. Mihoko or Ms. Akiko. They will provide the badge which you are required to wear for the rest of your work days. Please be sure to bring it with you every day.

AN EXHIBITOR BADGE PASS IS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY AND MUST BE WORN THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE EVENT. EXHIBITOR BADGES ARE STRICTLY MONITORED BY THE SYSTEM AND CANNOT BE BORROWED NOR REPLACED. CONTACT YOUR LEADER IF YOUR BADGE GETS LOST OR STOLEN.

ATTIRE

A BLACK UNIFORM will be provided. Please arrive wearing a PLAIN SOLID BLACK COLOR T-SHIRT or polo shirt of your own with NO graphic print or a brand logo. You may wear the Uniform over it for warmth. Wear comfortable and workable BLACK pants and shoes during the work hours on the show days.

You may wear the Uniform over your plain solid black color T-shirt. The convention center could be chilly and wearing another layer is allowed.
You will be actively working on your feet for long hours, so please be sure to wear comfortable shoes (sneakers or tennis shoes).
No short pants, skirts, open-toe shoes, sandals, and high heels are accepted for safety reasons.
Black colored jeans or pants are an ideal choice, excluding any torn or ripped styles.
Please refrain from wearing head accessories such as a hat, cap, bandana, scarf, headphones, and sunglasses except for religious or medical reasons.

★★★ PLEASE BRING A COUPLE OF BOTTLES OF WATER ★★★

They will be long workdays, so please bring your own bottled water or a reusable water bottle to refill at the venue’s water fountains and stay hydrated.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Personal phone use during work hours is not allowed, except for checking the time.
Listening to music with devices such as AirPods during your shift is not permitted.
Chewing gum while on duty is not allowed.
Taking photos or videos in the backyard or enclosure area is strictly prohibited. (You may take photos on the exhibit floor during your break time.)
Giveaway products are not to be taken by staff.
Theft or vandalism of merchandise is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination.

Please mind your manners and behave professionally at the worksite, even during the breaks, as you represent the exhibitor. Sitting on the floor outside the staff backroom is considered an inappropriate manner.

MEAL BREAKS / REST BREAKS

We take turns taking breaks. Please follow the Director/Leader’s instructions on site. Lunch Meal will be provided. We cannot accommodate dietary restrictions. You can bringing your own lunch and drink of your choice to avoid long food stand lines at the convention. Some snacks and water will be also provided.
